An unforgettable family adventure
With family or friends, discover these strange and fascinating reptiles. The reptiles are housed in an authentic 12th-century sheepfold, giving you the chance to combine nature and culture.
In addition, a small train (€1 per person per journey) provides easy access to the heart of the park. This service operates at weekends, on public holidays and during school vacations.
A thousand-year-old historical heritage
A former 11th-century fortress, this château was built on a rocky outcrop. It became the property of the good King René in the 15th century. It then belonged to the Marquis de Forbin for 500 years.
Transformed into a château de plaisance in the 17th century, it boasts magnificent formal gardens. These were designed by Le Nôtre himself. Flanders, Brussels and Aubusson tapestries adorn the walls.
French ceilings, gypsum decorations, painted canvases and Cordovan leathers complete the ensemble. The château is entirely decorated and furnished in period style.
